Glenn & the list, Unfortunately what seems like plain stupid behaviour to me and possibly many others, is not a universally held judgement. (I'll resist the almost overwhelming temption to provide examples of such a general assertion - I'm sure list readers could readily fill in the space here without my assistance.) The workload of edu.au is something which I feel would be discharged more efficiently by more folk willing to do the work, and, like it or not, the time for volunteers has now long past. As I've indicated I'll be watching the outcomes of the asn.au activity closely first, but I'm of the view that it is a rational way to go for the domains I look after.
