] > Has anyone else received these yet? ] ] I received a bunch of them for domains that I host, where the clients ] have made me the mail contact. Presumably all my other clients got sent ] these too. I think that they are a disgraceful, blatant, attempt to rip- ] off unsuspecting people. This is definitely dodgy business practice, and ] the sooner the ACCC, or some other authority, fines/sues/charges them out ] of existance the better! How many people have complained to the ACCC? Perhaps the ACCC have not seen enough complaints yet to make investigation of this a priority. I would imagine the ACCC are used to dealing with dodgy business practices. You don't need to know much about domain names to decide whether something like this is misleading and deceptive conduct. __________________________________________________________________________ David Keegel <djk§cyber.com.au> URL: http://www.cyber.com.au/users/djk/ Cybersource P/L: Unix Systems Administration and TCP/IP network managementReceived on Thu Aug 16 2001 - 20:46:56 UTC
