Registry hardware is operational inside secure multi-homed redundant data centres at Connect Pty Ltd's and AusRegistry premises. Several data transitions of existing .au domain name data into the new registry have been completed successfully. auDA test bed and provisionally accredited registrars are well underway constructing their new interface systems and are connecting and communicating with the registry. auDA will commence acceptance testing of the registry on Tuesday 7 May 2002.
