Quoting heidi§internode.com.au on Wednesday August 07, 2002: | | hi kim, | | I'd like to politely disagree here. | | I think the question is: | | "when were you notified of the success of the domain registration?" | | I have had a few (more than one ... less than ten) cases in the last month | when I could perform whois lookups on the domain registration request I | had placed through my registrar , but was not informed of the success of | my application for several days. *nod* Agreed. You could also make the argument you can test yourself. If you ask for a phone to be connected do you wait for the bill to arrive with the connection fee, or check if you have a dial tone? I'm not suggesting anything less than notifying the customer immediately when the domain is active is acceptable, but the domain surely may be in full service answering queries even if the customer is not explicitly told. kimReceived on Fri Oct 03 2003 - 00:00:00 UTC
