I recently received a letter from Domain Registry of
Australia concerning a .com I own. I must say however
that I find their mailout 1000 times less confusing
than that of DDNS. They are fairly straightforward in
how they represent themselves. The only problem I can
see is that they mention the domain name and its
expiry date.

Domain name holders are not obligated to renew their
domain name with the current Registrar or with the
Domain Registry of Australia. Review our prices and
decide for yourself. You are under no obligation to
pay the amounts stated below, unless you accept this
offer. We are hoping you will choose the Domain
Registry of Australia. This notice is not a bill,
rather an easy means of payment should you decide to
register or renew your domain with us.

Perhaps Roddy can take a few lessons.

PS Rod I see you have changed your site once again.
