I have already been n the phone to 5 clients today asking "what the".

I am really starting to dislike the "aggressive" marketing practices of some
people within the domain name and internet industries. It gives everyone a
bad name and wastes my time and obviously alot of other
designer's/developer's/consultant's time.

If Net Registry wanted to convert people from Melbourne IT couldn't they put
on a travelling internet road show style seminar series and invite small
businesses along to explain the internet and the say "hey why not register
or renew your domain with us instaed of those nasty Melbourne IT people". I
guess they figured that would be too expensive and their method has already
been proven to be successful with ING and Internet Registry.
