] With lines like "This is an official notice" and "to inform you that ] Melbourne IT has terminated its Agreement" and "therefore DOMAIN ] RESELLER will no longer be able to manage the maintenance and renewal of ] your .com.au domain name" and "To ensure your domain name is secure and ] protected" I have no doubt MelbourneIT have achieved their aim. Is there much cost involved for a current Melbourne IT reseller to maintain its Melbourne IT reseller status for 2 years but not renew or register any domains through Melbourne IT? Assume that the reseller also has a reseller relationship with another registrar (or registrars) through which domains will be renewed and registered. When resellers who have been affected by this letter complain to Melbourne IT and ask Melbourne IT to explain itself to them, can you also ask for permission to pass Melbourne IT's response on to auDA and/or lists like this one? __________________________________________________________________________ David Keegel <djk§cyber.com.au> URL: http://www.cyber.com.au/users/djk/ Cybersource P/L: Linux/Unix Systems Administration Consulting/ContractingReceived on Fri Oct 03 2003 - 00:00:00 UTC
