Consider his trumpet blown - well done cb! That's one less present you'll have to worry about! On a serious note...(?) I wrote a while ago regarding making the .au namespace figures available for public viewing. We are now finalising these reports which will be published monthly both on the auDA and AusRegistry websites. They will contain the following information; - Total number of domains in .au - Total number of registrations in that given month (broken down by 2LD) - As above for transactions - As above for renewals - Registrar market share (indicative) - Registry technical report with respect to SLA's and more.... You will receive official notification on this from either auDA or AusRegistry in the very near future (days...). Regards, Adrian Kinderis MD - Sales and Marketing AusRegistry Pty. Ltd. He told me that the domains have been removed from the auction because they had found out that it was not possible to sell .au domains. Good to see that they are on top of things. It seems they now intend to disinter their original plans which they formulated prior to the land rush to set up an "online shopping centre" which will offer among other things slimming products - hence cellulite.com.au. The association with banker.com.au is dinky. It appears that other part of the dynamic duo Michael Daher (ichael§uregister.com.au) doesn't suffer from keyboard dyslexia and didn't accidently type a "b" instead of a "w" when filling out the forms at Bottle. He is in fact, even as I write, hitting the books in preparation for his exams to become a finance broker. I would have thought that nothwithstanding all the fun and games with finance brokers in WA in recent years the link with "banker" might have been a tad tenuous even for the lenient little bottlers. But then again to coin a cliche the West is another country and they do things differently there. Sadly I was not able to get Daniel to elaborate on the connections with licence and society as his mobile seemed to have run out of power. cb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- List policy, unsubscribing and archives => http://www.auda.org.au/list/dns/ Please do not retransmit articles on this list without permission of the author, further information at the above URL.
