Vic,

I'm not actually sure what you're asking of us. Would you like us to
screen every domain name order for the sake of an organisation who puts
through one in every thousand or so names we process?

If an organisation wants to purchase a domain with a registrar/reseller
badly enough, they will get around any safeguards put in place. Should
great resources industrywide, let alone the time we spend discussing
such matters, be spent protecting the .au space against such low volume
operators given that they have chosen to adhere to all .au policy in
the future, and admitted that previous marketing campaigns were an
inadvertent breach of .au policy.

Uregister are not an official .au reseller of Bottle Domains
(Australian Style Pty Ltd). Should they submit an application for
official reseller status, it would be reviewed with all factors
considered.

If you want my honest opinion, the only way to solve such problems, is
to encourage all non-registrar/reseller operators in the domain
industry into reseller status. This is the only way that they're bound
by the .au code of conduct, and therefore stricter action may be
enforced. Do you want a further unregulated industry, where
operators are bound by little more than the trade practices act? We're
trying to work with auDA not against them Vic.

Nick
