Yes the price argument is flawed to a degree. However to charge over $100
more for what is a very simple service is ludicrous. I accept that value
adding is important but the list is only talking about the domain
registration process.

Are they sending someone over to clean the house and make you tea while you
order the domain? Service is crucial. My point is that value added services
with something as simple as registering a domain name can possibly account
for a $20 price difference if say the registrar has an excellent reminder
service or some other such facility.

So the real range should be somewhere from $60 to 80 for this service in the
reseller range. Add another $20 for retail and you have a reasonable retail
range from $80 to $100.

Price comparison alone is flawed - otherwise Namescout would own the .au
market and everyone else would be out of business.

McDonald's sets itself apart from it's competition by training staff in it's
core principles; Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value (QSC&V*).

Registrars and resellers,

What are your core principles?  Why do your customers choose you over the
rest?
