Yup.. Thanx Craig... I will re-word my T&C and send and advisement out to my customers of the change and that if any object then they should retain control of their domain and manage it themselves. Otherwise, I will assume we have 'power of attorney' over the specific domain and move them when we are ready. For the other reasons Steven also stated... Some Registries are quite hard to deal with and some just make it a pleasure.. Like Enetica. Some are also just obscenely expensive like MelbourneIT, which if there was added value, no problems.... But there is a lot less value in M.IT than others.. So why pay so much more? I wonder if there are any statistics on how many domains have left M.IT since Monday? Vic.. How many have you had moved to you this week from M.IT ? ;-) ...Skeeve -----Original Message----- From: Steven Ebsary [mailto:steven§enuff.com] Sent: Thursday, 19 June 2003 12:19 PM To: dns§lists.auda.org.au Subject: Re: [DNS] auDA media release ...chop.. Thanks Craig for clearing up the legal issues regarding it, getting the registrant to give the reseller the power of attorney (by way of T&C's) is the best way to go until resellers are recognised more clearly as resellers by auDA. speaking for myself :) -- Regards, Steven Ebsary ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- List policy, unsubscribing and archives => http://www.auda.org.au/list/dns/ Please do not retransmit articles on this list without permission of the author, further information at the above URL.
