Sounds a little too logical for these people Sean. -----Original Message----- From: Sean Finn [mailto:sean§teknol.com.au] Sent: Tuesday, 24 June 2003 2:40 PM To: dns§lists.auda.org.au Subject: RE: [DNS] Enetica Scenario: " A Registrar is in the business of selling domain names. U want to resell? Cool. I'll give you a discount. You're now my reseller, and you get stuff cheaper. " Sounds like traditional business to me, if I were focused on selling domain names, its the model I would adopt. I sure as heck would not market to my resellers clients, but I can still compete in the same space for mine. -Sean. -----Original Message----- From: Richard Keeves [mailto:richard§ibc.com.au] Sent: Tuesday, 24 June 2003 2:35 PM To: dns§lists.auda.org.au Subject: Re: [DNS] Enetica To my knowledge, Enetica have *not* approached our clients directly. Other registrars *have* approached our clients. We have always found Enetica great to deal with. What concerns me is that Enetica (and others) think it ok to compete with their channel - and target the same registrant client who was introduced to them by the reseller. that is a business practice that is *not* ok. cheers richard ----- Original Message ----- From: "Domain Registration Services" <mail§domainregistration.com.au> To: <dns§lists.auda.org.au> Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2003 11:32 AM Subject: RE: [DNS] Enetica > > > Hi Richard, > > Have Enetica or any other Registrar approached your clients with regards to > taking them on as direct customers?
