I have dispatched a few private warnings, and I hope they will be heeded
or I will start suspending people.

Perhaps I can reintroduce a limit which I removed a few years ago
on the number of posts per day per person. I really wish I didn't have
to, because I think it is good to have the flexibility to contribute to
a discussion when warranted.

But I am not prepared to let this descend into another Adam Todd or Jim
Fleming style scenario from around 1998.

My general rule of thumb is to wait a week for these kinds of flame wars
to peter out, and by my reckoning this started on the 16th...
