The average processing time is somewhat longer outside of normal hours, mainly due to the fact people are not generally at their computer when the applications come in. FIY we achieved a processing time of less than 5 minutes for 97.1% of applications in February, for domains done during our office hours. We have numerous systems that work towards minimising this, including the fact we start to approve your domain before you have finished your application, ie once you submit your eligibility details but before you submit payment details.
