I thought this might be of interest to a few people here. If your dealing with DNS you are a sysadmin of sorts. :L Subject: Reminder: The Australian System Administrators Conference Date: Tue, 21 Jun 2005 08:39 am From: "Steven Plunkett" <steven§sjp.dropbear.id.au> To: sage-au-announce§sage-au.org.au All, The National Executive would like to pass on a friendly reminder about the upcoming National 2005 Conference in Perth. Don't forget that a lot of companies use the traditional Fiscal Year calendar, which means in 9 days the new financial year will start. Now's the time to go to your boss and get your conference attendance locked in! Early Bird registrations close July 22nd, but don't wait until the last minute to submit your registrations! The sooner we have registrations submitted, the better we can plan the facilities for you at the conference. Also don't forget that the earlier you book, the cheaper your airfare will be. SAGE-AU has arranged group booking fares for the conference, which means that you should have an cheaper airfare available to you. Check out the website at http://www.qantas.com.au/content/dyn/conference/sagSep05. If you missed my previous email about the conference, check out the archives at https://lists.sage-au.org.au/pipermail/sage-au/2005-June/020337.html. It's a brief summary of why the conference can benefit you, in a way that's easy to explain to those holding the purse strings - whether it be your boss, your partner, or even if you have to yourself. There's something for everyone at this year's conference. We look forward to seeing you there.
