Hi David EINFO have been building their portfolio of domain names since 1999, well before any of the changes to the eligibility or allocation policies that auDA have introduced. Though I presume that their figure of 6000 names includes both gTLD and .au names, it does I think put the current activities of which you are raising concern into context.
