[DNS] Should this list continue to exist?

[DNS] Should this list continue to exist?

I agree that keeping the archives live is valuable. I'd prefer to keep them independent of auDA, however.

For those that aren't aware, full list archives (right back to 1996) are here: www.dotau.org

Sean,
I am talking about the historical records which can be found if you
Google certain things the old DNS discussion list appears and yes I have
some old skeletons in the cupboard but I think the history is worth
keeping for the sake of history of the internet in Australia.
I am sure a lot of the pioneers of this industry would join me in
keeping the archived forums live for the future of the net in .au and if
you like the generation who will follow.
I urge Auda to take over the data on behalf of the stakeholders of the
net in .au
Kim you have done a wonderful job over the years running the list and I
for one have had great enjoyment making comments and watching the net
grow in Australia.
Archive the list under auda.org.au/history.dnslist.
Thanks,
Rod Keys
