Please accept my apologies for not attending the meeting in Sydney tomorrow. As regards the desirability of the meeting making decisions viz the ADNA, even though some key figures will not be present, my vote is for making decisions. This Forum is the process which the Australian Internet community has established to develop its own self-regulation, and is widely recognized as such. There is no other. Unless anybody wishes the government to intervene, and take over the burden of developing regulation for the Internet community, then it is necessary to keep making decisions at these meetings, and consider them binding, even though the agenda only calls for discussion on these items.
