Dazza, you are doing what is more often than not considered unacceptable behaviour on this list. You were simply stating your point of view and resonding to comments made. Patrick simply sounds uptight and was clearly looking to bait you into an argument. You should be aware than any comment on this list relative to the credibility of anyone associated with .au admin is frowned upon. It's an industry full of double standards and little integrity where too many consider themselves untouchable. Peter Dean would frown upon the business practice of ING and anyone misrepresenting themsevlves or deceiving Australian consumers, and yet it could be said that he conducts himself in a similar manner. But no one can throw a comment such as that in the air without the threat of this list dissapearing all together or being seriously moderated. Shutting a list down or moderating it intensly because certain individuals involed in .au administraton want to hide behind their "titles" and claim immunity so they may continue with shonky practices whilst claiming to be do-gooders? That is most certainly an absolute joke. Transparent?? Very little is transparent when it comes to .au administration. But the scammers will be knocked on the head, one by one. This industry requires a little clean up and it can either stay in house (such as this list) or presented vigoursouly to the broader media, but either way have no doubt it will be done and should anyone have a problem with that, the problem shall remain theirs and theirs alone.
