Hi All, I'm sure http://whois.com.au would like to offer a privacy option.. However, I'm not so sure that an email addie being hidden will cut the mustard when it comes to preventing whois database abuse. I'd much prefer to see a situation where a person could register a domain and they could opt out of the public whois database altogether.. If there is a specific need for Law Enforcement to have access, then why not hold 2 databases, one public, and one entirely private accessible upon search warrant alone. We have only to look at Bob Parson's new website http://www.thedangerofnoprivacy.com/ to see glaring examples of why the .au whois database information needs to be protected in a way much better than it is now..
